5 Books I Just Picked Up For A Mere $3.

Standard

If you’re in the Twin Cities area, check out the sale my school’s library is having.

Here are my findings for only $3:

1. The Pursuit of Holiness; by Jerry Bridges.

2. Chosen By God; by R.C. Sproul.

3. Suprised By Suffering; by R.C. Sproul.

4. Seven Wonders Of Grace; by Charles Spurgeon.

5. The Pursuit Of God; by A.W. Tozer.

If you’ve read them, leave a review.

If you haven’t, leave a book recommendation.

RC Sproul…can’t remember if I read either of those, but I had to read/watch some of his stuff in high school for Worldview. He’s brilliant.

btw, I’ve loved Animal Collective since…as long as I can remember. The song you linked is my fave. Um, they’ll be in the Cities soon…May 20th. Show is sold out, but I think a friend bought me a ticket? We’ll only hope.

Jimmy, I have finally found you. Okay, in fairness this is the first time I googled to find you, but I have thought of you often. Next time your home (Toledo) give me a ring, I’m in the book. From the looks of this blog you are doing great. Keep on loving the Lord and pursuing Him with your whole heart. Oh, as far as a good read, try Velvet Elvis, by Rob Bell. Actually any of his books are incredible.

I read The Pursuit of Holiness, but it was a really long time ago and I don’t remember it really. My favorite book of all time is Till We See Faces by C.S. Lewis. I recommend it to everyone. It’s such a painful and beautiful story to read.
